What You'll Need:
  • An iPhone or iPad with Apple Pay set up
  • The recipient's phone number or email address associated with their Apple Cash

Sending Money with iMessage:

  1. Open the Messages app and start a new conversation or select an existing one.
  2. Tap the "+" icon on the left side of the chat window.
  3. Among the options, select "Apple Cash."
  4. Enter the amount you want to send.
  5. Choose "Send" if you're sending money, or "Request" if you'd like to request money from someone.
  6. Confirm the payment with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

Adding Money to Apple Cash (if necessary):

  1. If you don't have enough balance in your Apple Cash, you can easily add funds before sending.
  2. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone or iPad.
  3. Tap on your Apple Cash card.
  4. Select "Add Money."
  5. Choose the amount you want to add and the bank account you want to transfer it from.
  6. Confirm the transaction.
